Amedia Cymbals brings to you 100% Turkish handmade cymbals...made by hammer-smiths and lathe-men that are truly masters in their field.
Almost every cymbal-smith trained in Turkey during the past 28 years has learned the art form from Eremya Arzat (founder of Amedia) himself,
or from one of his apprentices. Tracing their lineage through Agop Tomurcuk and Mehmet Tamdeger at "Istanbul Cymbals" to Eremya

Each cymbal is handcrafted, and is as individual as the master himself. Every cymbal has the master's mark and a touch of his spirit.
Here at Rhythm Traders, we've chosen to focus on traditional cymbals rather than some of the newer creations of un-lathed, partially lathed, and raw cymbals aimed at younger drummers. Instead, we have worked with Amedia to bring you melodic cymbals, many of them lower pitched and thin, which we feel represent the heart of Turkish cymbal making.
